BATESVILLE, Ark. — UPDATE - The Southside Volunteer Fire Dept. confirmed that one person was burned and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The owner said a bucket of paint thinner that is used to soak barrels was spilled. Some of the thinner got under an oven, which was later opened, causing the fire.
Officials are not sure how much damage was caused to the building, but said some customer guns may be saved.
ORIGINAL - A spokesperson for the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management confirms that there has been an explosion at Rob Roberts Custom Gun Works in Batesville.
The local county emergency coordinator is on scene.
