Today Sunday, July 7 golfers played their last rounds at the War Memorial Golf Course.
This course and Hindman Golf Course will be closing as a part of the budget cut plan put forward by Mayor Frank Scortt Jr.
He plans to repurpose both golf courses.
He has assigned a 20 member committee to brainstorm ideas and launched an online survey so residents can take part in the repurposing.
