Two accidents slow traffic on I-40 between Conway and Morrilton

According to ARDOT, an accident involving a semi-truck on I-40 in Menifee just west of Conway was causing traffic to back up.

MENIFEE, Ark. — Update: As of 11:24 a.m., all lanes of traffic have now been cleared.

An accident involving a semi-truck on I-40 in Menifee just west of Conway is causing traffic to back up.

ARDOT reports that both the eastbound and westbound lanes are blocked near mile marker 119.8 in Conway County.

The accident reportedly happened around 5:42 a.m. and crews are still working to clear any debris.

According to Arkansas State Police, injuries were reported, and traffic is at a standstill in some spots and moving slowly while crews work to clear the scene. For live updates, please visit iDriveArkansas's website.

Another accident near the 119.8 mile marker happened around 7:40 a.m., which is less than a mile west of Conway.
