LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A new Aldi Food Market will be "coming soon" to Little Rock as an official sign was placed outside of the building this week.
Despite the sign's arrival, it's still unclear exactly when the business will open to the public.
We first learned in June of 2023 that the city of Little Rock would be getting its first Aldi Food Market, which is taking the place of Bed, Bath, and Beyond on Chenal Parkway.
This news comes as an Aldi Food Market in Conway is set for its grand opening on Jan. 25, 2024. The new location in Little Rock would give Central Arkansas a handful of locations.
There are already several locations being placed in the northwestern and northeastern parts of the state.
Aldi will be taking the place of Bed, Bath, and Beyond after the business was placed on an auction due to bankruptcy. The Little Rock location was purchased by Aldi for $132K.
