LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – President and General Manager Michael Caplan announced this week that former Miss Kansas Amanda Jaeger is joining the THV11 team as anchor and reporter.

Amanda is set to anchor THV11 at Noon and report in the station’s evening shows. Caplan shared, “I know Amanda is excited to be in central Arkansas and she will be a great addition to the THV11 team.”

Prior to joining THV11, Amanda, a University of Central Missouri alumna, anchored and reported for KWCH in Wichita, Kansas. Amanda hails from the Sunflower State and was named Miss Kansas in 2014.

Amanda and her husband Mitch are already exploring Arkansas. Amanda said, “I can’t wait to tell the stories of people in this beautiful state.”

In addition to her work in television, she has volunteered over the years for Children’s Miracle Network, as well as advocating for suicide prevention and awareness through the Miss America Organization. Amanda is looking forward to volunteering in Arkansas as well.

News Director Dave Parker added, “I am thrilled to have Amanda at THV11 and know she will make an impact in our community.”
