BENTON, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) announced an additional overnight closure for Interstate 30 westbound in Saline County to "perform pavement repair operations."
ARDOT said the slow-roll lane closures will start at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue through 5:00 a.m. Friday.
Weather permitting, crews will use a slow-roll roadblock west of Highway 67 on the I-30 westbound lanes to perform the pavement repairs.
The Highway 70 ramp to I-30 westbound will be closed during the closure. Additionally, Highway 70 traffic to I-30 westbound will follow the signed detour to I-30 eastbound and Exit 114 (Hwy. 67/229) and return to I-30 westbound.
Traffic will be controlled with construction barricades, traffic barrels and signage. ARDOT advised travelers to be cautious in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
