ARDOT schedules overnight closure on Interstate 440 for 'bridge deck repairs'

Weather permitting, Interstate 440 westbound will be reduced to one lane between Springer Boulevard and Bankhead Drive starting March 4 through March 7.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) announced a three-day overnight lane closure along Interstate 440 westbound.

Officials said the inside and middle westbound lanes of I-440 will be closed from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m. starting March 4 through the morning of March 7 for bridge deck repairs.

Weather permitting, the lanes will be closed between Springer Boulevard (Exit 1) and Bankhead Drive (Exit 3). One westbound lane will remain open to traffic.

ARDOT said traffic will be controlled with cones and signage, and drivers should be cautious while traveling through the area.
