LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will close multiple lanes on Interstate 30 westbound in Saline County and Highway 67 northbound in Jacksonville for pavement repairs.
According to officials, the inside and outside lanes of I-30 westbound between Highway 67 and Highway 70 will experience alternate single-lane closures from 5:00 a.m. to noon as crews perform the repairs, which includes fixing potholes.
Additionally, crews will be working on lanes on Highway 67 northbound in Jacksonville between Main Street and Vandenburg Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to address pavement issues caused by the winter weather.
ARDOT said it's working with a contractor on the project "to repair the damaged areas as quickly as possible."
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels and signage. ARDOT advised the public to be aware when traveling in the work zone and said drivers should "watch for slower traffic speeds."
