Arkansas hunters can purchase leftover WMA turkey hunt permits beginning on Feb. 26

Arkansas hunters who weren't able to draw a wildlife management area turkey hunt permit during the regular drawing will now have a chance to score a hunting spot.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Hunters who weren't able to draw a wildlife management area turkey hunt permit during the regular drawing will now have a chance to score a spot to hunt in some of the most popular WMA's in Arkansas.

The leftover permits will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis starting at 8:00 a.m. on February 26. Anyone applying for leftover permits will be required to pay a $5 processing fee.

There is no limit to how many permits someone can buy but many hunts are on the same day so hunters are advised to pay attention to hunt dates and locations before they purchase them.
