SPARKMAN, Ark. — A Sparkman resident recently won a $50,000 lottery prize by playing the $1,000,000 VIP Club instant game for $20.
Domingo Olvera Vega purchased the winning ticket during his lunch break last Friday at Sparky Mart on 504 W. Main St. in Sparkman.
As a daily lottery player, Vega has played a range of instant games and enjoys Powerball and Mega Millions when there are high jackpots. This Rme, Vega purchased a single $1,000,000
He scratched the ticket before returning home and couldn't believe his good luck.
“My goodness is that right,” Vega recalled thinking. “My wife was so happy too! Even if sometimes she tells me not to play."
This isn't his first win though, Vega has also previously won $500.
“I’ve got really good luck,” he said.
He plans to save his prize money for his children and hopes to buy a home someday. He also intends to keep playing lottery games.
“I’ll hit the million one day,” he said with a grin.
