CALICO ROCK, Ark. — According to reports, a man from Calico Rock has been arrested after a search warrant was carried out at his home on Tuesday, March 26.
An undercover operation between Arkansas State Police's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office led to the discovery of thousands of files of child sexual abuse material that had been downloaded and shared from the home of 55-year-old Mark Vangorder.
Vangorder was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with 100 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. His bond is set at $250,000.
