LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department has now arrested a man for his involvement in the death of an infant that happened in April.
According to reports, just before 8:00 a.m. on April 11, an unresponsive 3-month-old baby was taken to the hospital to be examined.
Doctors determined the baby had severe brain injuries, and that those injuries were consistent with signs of abuse. The baby later died due to his injuries, and police were then called to begin an investigation into the incident.
They determined that the baby's dad, 18-year-old Xavier Andrews, was responsible for the abuse that led to the baby's death.
Andrews was then arrested and charged with capital murder.
