AMITY, Ark. — On May 13, Arkansas State Police arrested and charged an Amity resident for 30 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
According to reports, officials launched an investigation on April 27 based on a tip forwarded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led to the arrest of 31-year-old Ethan Fagan.
Fagan is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. Additional charges are pending as investigators work to determine what child sexual abuse material images may have been created using artificial intelligence technology.
