HOPE, Ark. — Arkansas State Police have arrested a man after he was found with drugs during a traffic stop in Hempstead County.
According to reports, just before 8:00 a.m. on September 17, ASP troopers stopped a vehicle near the 28-mile marker along I-30 east for a traffic violation.
During the stop, they searched the vehicle and found three bricks of cocaine that were all wrapped in duct tape and hidden inside a box of baby wipes.
32-year-old Chris Alvarado of Dallas, Texas was arrested and taken to the Hempstead County Detention Center where he is being charged with felony trafficking of a controlled substance.
