WILMAR, Ark. — At the request of the Drew County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas State Police are now investigating an incident in Wilmar where two men were found dead on December 3.
According to reports, Drew County officers responded to a call at the old Wilmar School on North 5th Street just before 3:00 a.m. Once they arrived at the scene they found two deceased men.
25-year-old Suquorey Pitts Jr. of Dumas was found dead in the front passenger seat of a car parked in the school's driveway, and 21-year-old Independence Young of McGehee was found lying on North 5th Street.
Reports state that both men were pronounced dead at the scene from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The bodies will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsies.
