BEEBE, Ark. (KTHV) -- Arkansas State Police are responding to a request from the Beebe police department to investigate an officer-involved shooting.
Beebe police were in the process of executing a search warrant at 2100 Kamak Drive, when an armed individual pointed a gun at officers. Beebe police fired and wounded the individual.
The individual was then transferred to a Searcy hospital.
State police are in charge of the investigation. They will determine if the use of force was necessary.
