HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Arkansas's largest hotel, the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, has been purchased by Sky Capital Group, which is based in Little Rock.
The group acquired the hotel through a private transaction with Southwest Hotels, Inc. which has owned the historic hotel since 1954.
The Arlington Hotel has been in operation since 1924 and has "served as Arkansas's premier meeting places" for must-attend events. It has 478 rooms, a 45,000-square foot convention center, a thermal bathhouse, as well as twin mountainside cascading pools.
"We plan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this Arlington in just seven years and will be working to maintain it as one of the great American grand hotels," said Al Rajabi, CEO of Sky Capital Group.
Sky Capital Group also owns and operates the Four Points Sheraton in Little Rock.
