CANEHILL, Ark. — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, and Historic Cane Hill have now partnered and issued a nationwide call to artists for their art to potentially be featured on the 2025 Arkansas Northern Bobwhite Conservation Stamp and Eastern Wild Turkey Conservation Stamp.
The competition is open to anyone who is 18 and older in the United States, and artwork must be submitted by January 25, 2025.
Since the stamps were implemented, these voluntary stamps have helped raise more than $2 million worth of habitat work for turkey and quail through more than 50 projects, all on public land in Arkansas.
The artwork submissions will be judged by a panel of jurors which consists of both wildlife management professionals and artists.
In March 2025, the Historic Cane Hill Gallery will host a public exhibition where they will showcase the work from all of the competition winners and accepted artwork from each category.
Winners will not only have the pleasure of having their artwork featured on the stamps but they will also win a grand price of $2,500. Meanwhile, second place winners will win $500 each, and third place winners will win $250.
The public exhibition will be on display from March 15-April 26, 2025.
