LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Baptist Heath's new clinic set to open August 15 in downtown Little Rock.
The clinic will serve as a cross between an urgent care walk-in clinic and a traditional appointment-based physician's office, offering those who live or work in the downtown area a convenient healthcare alternative.
According to Baptist Health's press release, by offering walk-in and express appointment options "Baptist Health Downtown Care can be used as a person's primary care physician's office or for urgent care matters."
Dr. Adam Grant will be the primary care provider at the clinic. Grant received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York.
"Grant is trained in a more holistic approach to medicine, which means he considers a patient’s environment, nutrition and body system as a whole when diagnosing and treating medical conditions," said Baptist Health officials in a statement.
The facility will be located at 401 West Capitol Avenue, Suite 101B, in Little Rock, Baptist Health Downtown Care is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached by calling 501-374-2629.
