BATESVILLE, Ark. — On the morning of September 30, the Batesville School District shared a Facebook post informing parents that classes were canceled for the day at Eagle Mountain Elementary School after a small fire occurred on campus.
According to school officials, the Batesville Fire Department responded quickly to the scene and was able to fully extinguish the fire.
As an extra precaution, there will be no school at the Eagle Mountian campus today.
