Benton officials find dog with foam sprayed over eyes, search for suspects underway

An animal cruelty investigation is underway after a dog was found with his face and eyes completely covered in spray foam on Whitewood Drive in Benton.

BENTON, Ark. — Benton Animal Services and the City of Benton are seeking information about a young mixed-breed dog found wandering on Whitewood Drive on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 20th.

According to reports, the dog was seen on the side of the road with his face and eyes completely covered in spray foam.

The dog was immediately taken to a veterinarian for treatment. They were able to remove all the spray foam and confirmed that the dog's face and vision had no apparent damage.

The dog is currently under supervision at the clinic and will be released to Benton Animal Services once they receive the all-clear for any other health issues the dog may have.
