BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) -- On Saturday evening, officers responded to a possible burglary in progress at a home on Mink Road in Benton.

Police said officers made contact with two men on scene identified as David Cunningham, 58, and Terry Ward, 56. Items found in a truck nearby were found to belong to a construction company working in the area.

Both men were charged with residential burglary, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, theft of property, theft by receiving, and unauthorized use of another's property to facilitate a crime. Ward also had an active warrant out of Benton Police Department for failure to appear.
