Reward now offered for missing teen last seen in Elm Springs

BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The Benton County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is still searching for a missing teen last seen in Northwest Arkansas.

According to a report from BCSO, 17-year-old Sydnie M. Laney was last seen on Sept. 11 in the area of Elm Springs.

On Sept. 21, the sheriff's office shared that Sydnie was still missing, adding that a $25,000 reward was now being offered for information that leads to her safe return.

Sydnie is listed as a "missing/runaway juvenile" by BCSO. She is listed as a white female with brown eyes, but family social media posts have stated she is African American and Native American. 

She is 5'2" and weighs around 125 pounds.

The teen was last seen wearing a brown and pink jacket, tan cargo pants, and a bandana. One identifying feature of Sydnie's is she wears glasses, according to BCSO.

BCSO said she drives a black 2021 Toyota Camry with tinted windows and Arkansas license plate AVG28U.
