Bill & Hillary Clinton returning to Little Rock for 20th anniversary of presidential library

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton are expected to be back in Little Rock next month to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Clinton Presidential Library.

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — The Clinton Presidential Library is getting ready to hit a big milestone.

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the library. The former president and first lady are expected to return to Little Rock in a couple weeks to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Ann Kamps is a woman who worked alongside the Clintons from the very beginning. In celebration of the anniversary, she reminisced on her time with them.

Kamps began working with the Clintons back in 1985, where she started as Mrs. Clinton's assistant in the Capitol.

She stayed there until former President Clinton, who was serving as Arkansas governor at the time, announced he was taking a new political direction ... running for President of the United States.

"We were holding our signs that said 'Clinton for President' and we were so excited. This was our boss who was running for President of the United States" said Kamps.

The rest was history as Pres. Clinton became the 42nd man to hold office on Capitol Hill. He served two terms in the White House.

When his time ended there, his legacy remained in Arkansas. In 2004, the Clinton Presidential Library opened.

Ann Kamps continued her work with the Clintons. She remained a staple of the library from managing volunteer services to giving tours describing her time alongside Bill and Hillary.

"I would wish on this 20th anniversary that everyone in this state would be as excited about it as people who come from all over the world everyday," said Kamps.

The Clintons are expected to be in Little Rock for the 20th anniversary celebration.

On December 6, Pres. Clinton will talk about his new book, Citizen: My Life After the White House.

On December 7, he and the former first lady will discuss their political careers and the 20th anniversary of the library.
