BRYANT, Ark. — The Bryant Police Department was serving up some Christmas cheer for a little girl in Bryant after they surprised her with a magical little friend that she had not seen in quite some time!
Officer Sturdevant was on duty on Wednesday afternoon when she saw something unusual as she was leaving the high school. She then stopped to assess the situation and discovered that she had seen a small elf riding on a scooter.
The officer learned that the elf's name was Snowflake and that she was in a hurry because she needed to find her owner— a little girl named Lyric.
Officer Sturdevant then decided that she had to help Snowflake, and gave her a hand in finding her owner. The officer then knocked on the door of Lyric's home and told her she had someone special waiting in the police car for her.
Lyric quickly recognized that it was her elf sitting in the back seat, and both Lyric and Snowflake were reunited.
