HOUSTON — We all know Texans love their Buc-ee's, from beaver nuggets to beef jerky and a whole lot more. But the Texas favorite didn't end up on top of a national study.
The study, from the American Customer Satisfaction Index, ranks Buc-ee's third in the nation when it comes to gas station convenience stores.
Wawa, a popular East Coast convenience store chain took the the top spot. Quik Trip was second. Buc-ee's took third in a tie with Murphy USA.
The study was based on more than 5,000 responses looking at food quality and checkout speeds. The same study ranked H-E-B as the top supermarket in the country earlier this year.
