HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) -- Charges have been dismissed for a Hot Springs grandmother who was arrested after reportedly using a switch to punish her granddaughter.
Police announced Thursday afternoon that Norma Toussaint will not be charged as police have concluded that there was no intent to cause physical injury to her granddaughter.
Toussaint was charged with one count of second degree battery after her 12-year-old granddaughter called police. She is said to have used a switch from a bush to punish her granddaughter for talking back.
