GURDON, Ark. — On the morning of October 3, a deputy with the Clark County Sheriff's Office was reportedly involved in a wrong-way crash with a tractor-trailer on I-30 near Gurdon.
Officials stated that a truck going westbound in the eastbound lane hit the deputy's vehicle at a low speed.
The deputy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt and was taken into custody.
Traffic is currently backed up four miles on I-30 eastbound as crews work to clear the scene.
