CONWAY, Ark. — The Conway Fire Department was at the scene of a fire that happened along Front Street.
According to reports, the CFD was actively working to put out a commercial structure fire that sparked on the evening of January 15.
A spokesperson for the city confirmed that the fire occurred at the Patticakes Bakery. He added that the fire was almost contained as of just before 8:00 p.m.
Luckily, there was no one inside the building at the time of the fire. A crew checking into the buildings next door said they suffered minor smoke damage.
Information about what caused the fire is still unavailable at this time but we are working to learn more.
