CONWAY, Ark. — It was standing room only at Tuesday's Conway City Council meeting as people told officials how they felt about the incident at Malys Entertainment over the weekend.
"We know these individuals are not from Conway," Faulkner County NAACP President Latonya Duncan said. "We want individuals like them to stay out of Conway."
Other people expressed their feelings about how the city will go forward.
"We're going to try to continue to stand and make this the greatest city in the state of Arkansas as it has been for years," Another attendee said.
No city leaders spoke, but Conway Police Chief Chris Harris gave additional insight into the investigation.
Harris said the department didn't know about any stabbings until hours after the incident.
We also received the police report, which tells more about what happened that night.
