LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock District, Pulaski County, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have announced a facelift project that is underway for the Big Dram Bridge.

Currently, crews from Pulaski County are pressure washing the bridge. To ensure environmental safety is a priority, they are only using water to clean the bridge.

Crews began pressure washing on the southwest ramp on Wednesday, and they will continue the project on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until it is finished.

If inclement weather were to arise, crews will then focus on the main section of the bridge so they can minimize any possible disruptions to pedestrians.

There will also be crews on scene to asses and make repairs on any cosmetic issues such as touching up paint, or damaged concrete.

The public is urged to avoid work areas if possible.
