LITTLE ROCK, Ark — Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. unveiled what's being called a "first of its kind planning effort" focused on the growth and development of Downtown Little Rock.
The effort was introduced earlier this year and is being dubbed the "Downtown Little Rock Master Plan" project, which is aiming to improve, grow, and further develop the existing downtown space.
The City of Little Rock said that through the project, it's their mission to increase the quality of life for residents, workers, and visitors of the city.
As part of the Downtown Little Rock Master Plan, Mayor Scott shared that a survey is available for the public to complete.
The survey, which is open until Dec. 31, allows citizens the opportunity to provide their input into methods that they believe will help shape the future of Downtown Little Rock.
Through this survey, the city will identify "priorities" that are acknowledged and will develop the plan as a result.
