Fans think Razorback vs Tiger tradition is dying

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -"We should win," Donnie Valley said. Alex Carson agreed, "I think the Hogs will get it." "LSU, it's gotta be," Earvin Johnson added.

Just 24 hours before kickoff and the Arkansas Razorback versus LSU Tiger rivalry is heating up, but the temperature is not. Despite the frigid temperatures, tried and true Razorback fans don't seem to think the cold will affect the game-day turnout. "I think we've got about the best fan group in the country," Carson added.

But one thing they are concerned about is breaking tradition. "It's been a tradition. Razorbacks and LSU along with turkey season," Valley explained. The rivalry game has traditionally been played on Thanksgiving weekend but this year, game day is moved up two weekends.

Some feel with a combination of changes the tradition is just not what it used to be. Jim Harris said, "It's been hard for Arkansas to find its place as anybody's rival." Regardless, sports writer Jim Harris said the upcoming game will be in Arkansas' favor. He continued, "We're at home. Catching LSU after Alabama, having a week off, really not winning and really desiring to finally win that game."

Now, all that is left to do is see who will be walking away with the win. Valley predicting, "Score will probably be 35-24, Arkansas Razorbacks." Johnson said, "28-nothing, LSU."
