FBI makes 14 arrests in Ark. prostitution sting

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- 14 people were arrested in a prostitution sting following an Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry in Northwest Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- 14 people were arrested in a prostitution sting following an Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry in Northwest Arkansas.

Nine women face suspicion of prostitution charges, and five men face suspicion of promoting prostitution charges.

Undercover officers used text messages to arrange sexual favors from the women.

The arrests at a hotel in Fayetteville near Interstate 49. As the women arrived, the officers arrested them. Any men in the vehicles with the women were also arrested.
