HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — It's almost time for one of Hot Springs's most iconic festivals— and this time, a very special guest will be the Official Parade Starter.

On Monday, March 17, iconic hip-hop artist Flavor Flav will attend the First-Ever 22nd Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Hot Springs.

“Flavor Flav is one of the most recognizable legends in entertainment, and in March he will bring his contagious energy to our big little parade,” said Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison. “He’ll be the perfect person to fire the official starter’s pistol when our parade steps off on 98-foot Bridge Street.”

The legendary Hall of Fame rapper is known for co-founding hip-hop group Public Enemy and has since gone on to make a reality television show, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2020.

Each year, the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade attracts thousands of people to downtown Hot Springs to enjoy floats, marching bands, Irish Elvis impersonators, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, wacky costumed groups, and guest celebrities.
