Little Rock airport back online after worldwide tech outage

Flights nationwide were grounded after a major network outage impacted computer systems across the globe overnight— here's the latest on how Arkansas was impacted.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Overnight, flights across the United States and the globe were grounded after a widespread network outage impacted computer systems at multiple airlines.

According to officials with the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, so far there have been 17 delays and four cancellations as a result of the outage.

At this time, the airport will continue normal operations, with all restaurants inside having reopened.

Officials noted that the impact of this outage could linger for several days, and advised that anyone traveling double-check their flight status before coming to the airport.
