SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — The frontage road south of I-30 between the Mountain View Cutoff and Highway 67/229 will be closed this weekend so that crews can continue to work on widening the interstate.

The road will be closed beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, and will reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

As long as weather permits, crews will be performing drainage and pavement work in that area.

There will be signed detours posted to help drivers navigate their way around the closure. The detour is as follows:

  • Frontage Road to Highway 67/229. Traffic will detour to Mountain View Cutoff and Pawnee Drive to access Highway 67/229.

During the closure, the I-30 eastbound Exit 114 (Highway 67/229) ramp will remain open.

Drivers are urged to watch for road work signs and slower traffic speeds that are posted. They are also encouraged to take extra precautions while in work zones.
