Arkansas man arrested and charged with man's fentanyl overdose death

The Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office has now arrested a man for his involvement in the fentanyl overdose death of Glen Rose man.

HOT SPRING COUNTY, Ark. — The Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office has now arrested a man for his involvement in the death of Glen Rose man.

According to reports, on September 1, officers responded to what they referred to as an 'unattended death' in Glen Rose.

Once they arrived they found 25-year-old Cameron Spence deceased, and they suspected the cause of death to have been from a possible fentanyl overdose. 

They launched an investigation and identified Joseph Jimenez of Garland County as the suspect who they believe sold the drugs to Mr. Spence. They then executed a search warrant of his home where they found multiple types of narcotics.

Mr. Jimenez was then arrested and taken to the Garland County Detention Facility where he faces multiple charges in Garland County and will also be charged with aggravated death by delivery in Hot Spring County.

He also faces a possible life sentence for delivering fentanyl which caused the death of a person.
