LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Police have confirmed that this was a fatal hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of 66-year-old Mark Behnfeldt.
According to reports, The Little Rock Police Department was at the scene of a traffic accident that happened just after 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mitchell Drive and Geyer Springs Road on Monday evening.
When officers arrived at the scene they found Mr. Behnfelt unresponsive and lying on the ground.
Both the north and southbound lanes were completely shut down from I-30 to Dreher Lane.
So far, no suspect has been named in this incident and no charges have been filed.
