LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas students can now apply for a summer internship in the Governor’s office after applications opened up on March 26.
This unpaid internship position will last from June 3 through July 26 and require roughly 30 hours a week. Applications are due April 15 at 11:59 p.m. and can be submitted here.
“Working in our state capitol and serving the great people of Arkansas is an exciting and rewarding opportunity. Interns will gain firsthand knowledge about the various roles and responsibilities of the Governor’s office and work directly with my staff to advance key priorities. I encourage all students interested to apply,” said Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Applicants can specify which department of the Governor’s office they'd like to work in, including:
- Boards & Commissions
- Communications
- Constituent Services
- Legislative Affairs
- Policy
- Public Affairs
