LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — One iconic store in Little Rock known by many Razorback fans announced that they're closing their doors for good.
Hogman's Gameday Superstore will be closing at the end of the month. Originally named Hog Pens, the superstore changed its name in 2009 and evolved into a staple piece of the Arkansas community.
For years, Hogman's has provided special mementos and clothing for all Razorback fans.
"We had Razorback product, we decided to start, you know, selling it like on a retail aspect. The Razorback hog hat, some tumblers, and people just loved it," said Kassi Duncan, the Director of Operations for Hogman's.
The store has not only been a Little Rock staple, but it has also been home to many dedicated fans who love the Razorback community.
Canaan Sandy and his mom Ginger, who live in Eastern Arkansas would often make the two-hour trip from their hometown to visit Hogman's.
On Monday, the Sandy family packed their car with boxes of Razorback clothing from Hogman's for what would be the last "hoo-rah."
"I was surprised. It's kind of our go-to and Kassi always keeps us up on everything. So I hated it, and I hate it for her, but I think they're going to be just fine," Ginger Sandy said.
Doors will remain open for the next two weeks, so fans still have the opportunity to stop by and say goodbye or pick up any new Razorback merchandise.
Duncan said that all materials are marked down and prices will continue to drop until the very last day as fans prepare for the season opener as the Razorbacks take on UAPB at War Memorial Stadium.
