LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department is now investigating a shooting that happened on Thursday.
According to reports, officers were responding to a call on Springer Boulevard, and while they were on their way there they were told that shots had been fired and there was a 'subject down.'
Once they arrived at the scene they found 32-year-old Kelvin Hawkins with gunshot wounds. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
On Monday, Mr. Hawkins died due to his injuries and the incident is now being investigated as a homicide.
Police have not yet released the names of any possible suspects or motive behind the shooting.
