ALTUS, Ark. — The Criminal Investigation Division of Arkansas State Police has now launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Arkansas.
According to reports, the Altus Police Department requested the help of Arkansas State Police with the investigation after they found a deceased woman inside a home.
When APD arrived at the home they located 35-year-old Christina Steffen unresponsive inside her home. Later, the Franklin County Coroner confirmed that she was deceased.
The body was then sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the manner and cause of death.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing and we will update with more information as soon as it becomes available.
