JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — Jacksonville Animal Services and police are working to identify a man who abandoned two dogs at the animal shelter on April 7.
According to reports, a male in a red Jeep arrived in the animal shelter's parking lot and dumped two dogs over the fence into the main exterior run area.
Officials were unable to obtain a license plate from surveillance footage, since the subject backed out of the lot, preventing the plate from being seen. This Facebook post shows the footage.
