LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Each year, many local churches and food pantries provide Thanksgiving meals for Arkansans who need them.
THV11 compiled a list of places in central Arkansas that will be serving or donating meals during the week of Thanksgiving:
Arkansas Dream Center ThankSERVING will be delivering 600 meals on Thanksgiving Day in Cabot, Conway, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Heber Springs, Hot Springs, Little Rock, Russellville and Searcy
Cabot Church of Christ offers a food distribution day on Tuesday, November 22
Faith Fellowship Food Pantry in Hot Springs will be serving a Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday, November 23
Feed the Sheep Shop at Foothills Bible Church in Heber Springs has been distributing turkeys throughout the month of November. They also bring meals to clients who are ill.
Forest Tower Baptist Church in Hensley will have their children and youth program distribute food boxes and turkey on the evening of Wednesday, November 23.
Little Rock Compassion Center will be serving meals on Thanksgiving as well as taking food baskets to the homebound or ill.
Melrose Community Outreach in North Little Rock along with Mohammed Temple #34 and Mohammed Court #39 will be giving out Thanksgiving baskets as part of the “Let’s Eat Project 2016” on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Location of the give-away will be at Margo’s Catfish Diner 807 Willow Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Our House will be serving a meal from 8-9 a.m. on Thursday, November 24.
Salvation Army will provide meals at the 1111 West Markham location at 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Soul Food Café Missions in Conway will have a Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday, November 22.
South AR Fights AIDS (RD) in El Dorado is having a local church provide a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal for their clients at their fellowship hall.
Visitor’s Chapel Food Pantry in Hot Springs will be providing meals on Thanksgiving Day.
Wesley UMC in Conway will prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for members, neighbors and clients of the Bread Basket.
