LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A compounding pharmacy is opening its doors at a Little Rock location, which will help patients and others get specific medication.
The company, LRockRx Compounding Pharmacy, held a grand opening Monday at 7321 Cantrell Road. The pharmacy "specializes in creating customized medications tailored to the specific needs of each patient, offering solutions when standard prescriptions are not sufficient," according to a press release.
Compounding pharmacies help with customizing medications which includes dosage and delivery methods to help patient requirements. The pharmacy can provide anything from topical creams to injections and more.
Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. said the pharmacy will bring 100 new jobs and that its grand opening "further solidifies Little Rock’s position as the healthcare hub for the state and region."
The pharmacy will employ pharmacists, technicians, support staff, and administrators.

"Whether it’s adjusting medication dosage or developing allergen-free formulas, we’re committed to providing custom solutions that prioritize each patient’s health.”
LRockRx will help to serve not only patients but doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and more in its effort to provide customized medications.
