LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: The Little Rock Police Department arrested 20-year-old Daylon Bland for the murder of Marvin Jenkins Sr. and Marvin Jenkins Jr.
He has been charged with two counts of capital murder.
The Little Rock Police Department is now investigating a homicide that happened on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, officers responded to a call near the intersection of Mabelvale Drive and Mabelvale Circle just before 5:00 p.m.
Once officers arrived on the scene, they found two deceased males, later identified as 47-year-old Marvin Jenkins Sr. and 21-year-old Marvin Jenkins Jr., with gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives were called to the scene, and an investigation is underway.
