One man dead after shooting at Little Rock apartment complex

The Little Rock Police Department is investigating the homicide of a 32-year-old man at the Big Country Chateau apartments off Colonel Glenn Road.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: Police are searching for Kevion Alexander, who has a warrant for capital murder in connection with a homicide.

Officials noted that he may have altered his physical appearance by shaving/dying his hair or facial hair.

The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 6200 block of Colonel Glenn Road.

Authorities said they received a call about a shooting at the Big Country Chateau apartments around 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man "suffering from an apparent gunshot wound."

Little Rock police said the man, later identified as Akeem Broadway, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Approximately six hours after the shooting, Little Rock police posted to social media and asked the public for help identifying a suspect involved in the homicide.
