LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Monday afternoon the Remolinos Group, behind Sterling Market and Fidel & Co, announced that they have now bought two well-known restaurants in the Little Rock metro.
Long-time restaurateur, Mark Abernathy previously owned Loca Luna and Red Door but they will now both be under new ownership with the Remolinos Group.
Abernathy expressed his excitement for the future of the restaurants and said that he's excited to see them thrive under new ownership.
"Their commitment to honoring what we've built while bringing in fresh ideas ensures that our beloved establishments will remain a cornerstone of Little Rock dining for many years to come," he added.
Owner of Sterling Market and Fidel & Co., Fidel Samour, also expressed his excitement for the future and what lies ahead for the restaurants.
"Our vision is to merge the rich history and tradition of these beloved restaurants with fresh, innovative ideas that will elevate the dining experience. We are committed to supporting the amazing teams and continuing to build on the legacy that has been so passionately established.," said Samour.
Abernathy will work alongside the Remolinos Group to ensure that there is a smooth handover transition and to maintain the spirit of both restaurants.
While there will be some changes, everyone has ensured that Loca Luna and Red Door will continue to be the mainstays that people in the Capital City have all grown to know and love.
Gift cards and gift certificates that have been previously issued at either location will still be accepted under this new ownership.
