LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department is now investigating after a three-car collision on Wednesday morning left one person dead.
According to reports, officers were called to Baseline Road with reports of an accident. Once they arrived they found an unresponsive driver inside one of the vehicles.
When EMTs arrived on scene, the man was pronounced dead and crews quickly took the other passengers to the hospital to be evaluated.
No other information has been released on the condition of the other passengers.
The man was later identified as 59-year-old Michael Simpson, and he was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine whether the cause of death was from the accident or from a medical condition prior to the collision.
